Rasam powder from Deepika Padukone's kitchen has made its way to several other Bollywood homes

Deepika Padukone swears by the rasam powder that lines the shelves of her kitchen cupboard. The Bangalore girl has it specially made as rasam rice is her favourite.

Those who have eaten at her home know the distinct taste of the spicy rasam from the star's kitchen. Says a source, `Guests who have savoured it say it is a treat for the tastebuds. So much so that the actress even shares the spicy rasam powder with her close ones in Mumbai.`

Adds the source, `Everyone who has had the dish at Deepika's home knows exactly why it is loved so much. It is made in big quantities as it is distributed to a whole list of people who request her for it. Anyone who has ever enjoyed the special rasam at her place, always adds their name to her rasam powder delivery list. Dippy's homemade rasam powder is flavourful minus the loaded preservatives that is available in stores.

The powder is made under the standing instructions of the actress. There is the right blend of the various ingredients like coriander seeds, dried red chillies, dal, cumin seeds and peppercorns. In fact, the star makes it a point that the rasam powder is delivered to her industry friends and other close pals regularly whenever a new stock is made. by santa banta.com

EXCLUSIVE: Shraddha Kapoor ahead of Alia, Parineeti in BO Race

 [Monday, September 30, 2013]
As these days we see our B-Town is booming with youngsters and there are several budding and young stars on the field, seems like it's high time the superstars step down from their mantle and make way for these latest ones... While young and handsome actors are fighting their space for top slots at box office, the pretty fresh ladies are no less either.
If our film industry uses box office numbers as a device to measure ranks, then among the B-Town princesses Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra, it looks like Shraddha Kapoor is winning the race.
These gen-next young beauties of the industry are very promising and they are putting in a lot of efforts into passing the exam with flying Colours each time. On an interesting note, all the three share a common factor; which is the fact that they have individually worked with big banners - YRF, Vishesh Films and Dharma Productions.
Taking a look back, Shraddha for her film 'Aashiqui 2' had a massive opening and the film did business of around 84 crores. And this figure is much more than what her contemporaries' films collected.
Whereas Alia, who appeared in 'Student Of The Year', did a business of about 65 crores. While Parineeti Chopra's film, 'Ishaqzaade' collected about 47 crores.
Well, going by these figures, looks like the darling daughter of Shakti Kapoor is out to make her papa proud and she is here to stay for sure and strong.by indiaglitz..
