Whoa! Ranbir gets Rs 12 crore for an ad?(Bollywood india)

Apparently, Ranbir Kapoor is getting paid a whopping Rs 12 crore for his new commercial for a biscuit brand

According to the latest buzz, Ranbir Kapoor who is currently seen doing a commercial for a biscuit brand has been paid Rs 12 crore.

A source close to him says, `Ranbir was the first choice to be the face of the company because of his endearing personality. Also, the company was looking for an actor with a mischievousness side and thought the star would fit the bill. So they decided to approach him and was keen to have him on the board.`

It is said that the actor was in talks with the company and agreed to pay Rs 12 crore as well.


A company insider adds, `Ranbir did quote a huge amount but since most of the top actors charge similar price, the brand approved it and went ahead with their campaign. Moreover, now, since they are getting a lot of positive feedback for the commercial, they feel it was all worth it.`

The star as well as the company's spokesperson remained unavailable for comment.

Love Salman for promoting 'Dhoom 3' in 'Bigg Boss': Aamir..

Actor Aamir Khan, who is a very good friend of Salman Khan, says he loves Salman for promoting his film "Dhoom 3" in "Bigg Boss 7".

"I recently messaged Salman saying I am sending you my hat... please wear it at some event, it will help us but I didn't know he will wear it directly in 'Bigg Boss'... this shows his generosity. Its not his film, still he is helping us so much. I love Salman Khan for this," Aamir told reporters during a press conference promoting upcoming film "Dhoom 3".

Asked if he will promote Salman's "Jai Ho", Aamir said: "We haven't thought about it but I would love to do anything for him. But he is such a powerful star that he doesn't need anyone."


The entire star cast of "Dhoom 3" came together for the first time Tuesday to promote the most awaited film.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, "Dhoom 3" features Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra, among others.

Deepika gets four nominations at BIG Star awards..(Bollywood india)

With four back to back hits this year, it is quite natural for Deepika Padukone to lead the nomination categories at award functions.

The actress has been nominated in four categories at the BIG Star Entertainment Awards this year.

The fourth edition of BIG Star Entertainment Awards is scheduled to take place Dec 18, said a statement.

And Deepika's list of nominations includes - most entertaining actor in a thriller film for "Race 2"; most entertaining actor in a comedy film for "Chennai Express"; most entertaining actor in a romantic film for "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and "Ram-leela"; and finally most entertaining dancer for her performance in "Ram-leela".

She started the year with Abbas-Mustan directed action thriller `Race 2`, which earned Rs.100 crore. Later she impressed the audience as a nerdy character in "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani".


Followed by her entertaining act as a South Indian girl in the box office record-breaking movie "Chennai Express".

Her last release was "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela", in which director Sanjay Leela Bhansali presented her as a Gujarati girl and people not only enjoyed the film, they also appreciated her chemistry with co-star Ranveer Singh.

The free-flowing, unmeasured and operatic opulence hit the bull's eye at the box office.

Everton's Ross Barkley can reach the top, says Alan Hansen

Former Liverpool defender Alan Hansen says Everton attacking midfielder Ross Barkley has the ability to reach the highest levels in the game.

Barkley, 20, has won three England caps and been tipped for a place in the squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

"I don't think there's any doubt that if Barkley doesn't get injured he's going to be top of the tree," said Match of the Day's Hansen, who won eight league titles with Liverpool.

"He has got absolutely everything."

Everton manager Roberto Martinez likened his player to former midfielders Paul Gascoigne and Michael Ballack.

"I can see some Ballack in him and some Gazza," the Spaniard said.

"Ross has incredible potential. We need to give him time and accept he is not ready yet. That will take time, but he has absolutely everything."

Gascoigne was widely regarded as the most gifted English player of his generation.

Ballack won 98 caps for Germany and spent four years with Chelsea from 2006-10. He helped the Blues to the Premier League title and three FA Cups.

Former England striker Gary Lineker also remarked on the similar characteristics of Barkley and former Spurs team-mate Gascoigne.

"He has a bit of Gazza about him," tweeted Lineker.  "

"Similar stature, technique, confidence, ability to glide past opponents and a certain naivety."

Liverpool-born Barkley, who impressed again for Everton in a 1-1 draw at Arsenal on Sunday, made his debut for the Toffees two years ago in a1-0 defeat by QPR, but then spent time on loan at Championship sidesSheffield Wednesday and Leeds.

Having established himself as a regular at Goodison Park under Martinez, he made his first England appearance as a substituteagainst Moldova in September.

Ayesha Takia delivers a baby boy..

Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia gave birth to a baby boy on 6thDecember, 2013. Married to hotelier Farhan Azmi, Ayesha's delivery was due in mid-December. The ecstatic father announced the good news on twitter, "Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar" it's a BOY!"

Proud mother Ayesha Takia also shared her joy over the birth of the baby boy on twitter.

“Me and our son Thank u all sooo much and much love 2 all of you for the many blessings and good wishes we recieved. god bless,” Ayesha wrote.

Ayesha Takia starred in movies like Abbas-Mustan's 'Taarzan: The Wonder Car' in 2004, 'Wanted', 'Dor' and 'No Smoking'.

The actress tied the knot with Farhan Azmi in 2009 and was recently seen as the host of reality show 'Sur Kshetra'.

Both the mother and the baby are doing fine.
