Anushka Sharma denies dating Virat Kohli
Anushka Sharmacompletes five successful years in Bollywood and while talking to ‘The Indian Express’, the ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ clears the weather of dating Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. Off late, grapevine buzzed that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are seeing each other and both are very serious about one another but the long legged actress during the interview rubbishes the report.
When Anushka was asked whether she is seeing Virat, she replied, ‘No, I am not’. Anushka claims she and Virat are only good friends and they sometimes hang out together. Anushka said, “We are friends. I met him during the shoot of a shampoo commercial. I thought he'd be arrogant so I also went with arrogance but once we started shooting, I realised that he's really chilled out. We shot together for three days and on the second day of the shoot, I was having a get-together at my place so I called him over to hang out with my friends”.
“That's what it was and the next thing I read is a completely fictional account of how we were smooching in a lift in front of some Aunty from my building who we made uncomfortable. Arrey, I'm not even a hugging person. I feel very weird when everyone hugs each other on the sets. I'm like arrey kal hi toh mile thay yaar”, she added.
When she was asked about the story how Virat kept turning back to look at her after she came to see him off in the parking area of your building, she laughs it out saying, “Yeah, I read that. I think it's some bored neighbour with a notepad and pen who is writing these flop scenes from a bad film.”
Anushka said the ugly thing written about her is that she is ugly, “People said I'm ugly. It used to bother me a lot. There's this site pinkvilla.com. They put up pictures and the haters write really nasty stuff. Earlier I used to get upset but now I deal with it. When you are happy about yourself then you don't care”, quips the actress.
In this five years, Anushka has done only seven films but she has no regrets. “Professionally, none. I never put myself in a place I don't want to be in. Even if it's about endorsing a brand if I don't agree with what the brand is saying I won't promote it. I've always known what I want. Personally, there have been ups and downs but I've come to realise that the downs are good for an actor's emotional reserves. Earlier I used to get frazzled when something bad used to be written about me and I used to say it doesn't bother me but I was lying”, ended Anushka.byy bollywood mantra.comSRK tops Forbes India celebrity list, yet again
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has topped the 2nd edition of Forbes India's celebrity 100 list, a ranking of India's most powerful celebrities.
SRK continues to be on the top on the back of his earnings, even though star cricketers scored above him on the fame rankings, states the official website of the magazine.
The superstar has retained his No.1 position in the list, which also has names like Bollywood biggies Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif along with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The Celebrity 100 list is arrived at by measuring money (earnings estimates) and fame. Film stars - all male, with the exception of Katrina Kaif, who is on number nine - dominate the Top Ten in 2013.
Cricket is the closest competitor to Bollywood and their stars' fame index is testimony to that.
Dhoni, who was on the third position last year, has risen to the second position. He has taken what was earlier Salman's position.
Salman, who is now third in the list, is followed by Tendulkar and Bachchan.
Kareena Kapoor and Virendra Sehwag have been pushed down from the top 10 this time, making way for Ranbir and Hrithik Roshan.
Others who make it the list of 100 this year are cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, singer-composer Amit Trivedi, Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan and actress Sridevi.byy santa banta news network..

After Hrithik and Sussanne making a public statement about their separation, at the media press meet, Sussanne’s father, actor-filmmaker Sanjay Khan talks about this shocking news.
It felt like a fresh breath of air when Khan revealed that Hrithik-Sussanne separation was not a “closure” and the the couple needed time to sort their differences.
Reacting to the statement his son-in-law Hrithik Roshan made, about Sussanne’s decision to separate from him and end their 17-years relationship, Sanjay Khan said: “Like any other normal couple they also have some issues. Just because Hrithik is a superstar, doesn’t mean he will not have personal issues. They both are intelligent and wonderful people. It’s just that they need space. Of course this is not a closure. “They respect each other. To resolve issues, may be this is what they thought was good,” he said.byy bollywood celebden...

DJ Campbell held in football fixing probe(Bollywood india)
Ex-Premiership footballer DJ Campbell is among six people questioned by police in connection with allegations of fixing in football matches.
Mr Campbell, who plays for Championship side Blackburn, was one of six people arrested on Sunday.
The arrests came after ex-Portsmouth player Sam Sodje told a reporter he could arrange for players to be booked or sent off in exchange for cash.
The National Crime Agency said five people were bailed later on Sunday.
Officers were continuing to question a sixth individual, who was arrested on Sunday evening, the NCA added.
Portsmouth Football Club said it was "shocked and saddened" by the claims.
Mr Campbell, 32 - whose full name is Dudley Junior Campbell - played in the Premiership for Birmingham, Blackpool and QPR.
Blackburn Rovers FC said in a statement: "Following reports in today's national media, Blackburn Rovers can confirm that striker DJ Campbell has been arrested.
"The club will be making no further comment on what is now an ongoing legal matter."
Red card
Police have not named the other five people arrested.
Mr Sodje was secretly filmed by the Sun on Sunday describing how he had punched an opponent in a League One game to get a red card in exchange for £70,000.
He was sent off in the 50th minute of a League One match while playing for Portsmouth against Oldham Athletic on 23 February.
His team was losing 1-0, which remained the final score.
The paper also reported that an Oldham player, Cristian Montano, apologised to Mr Sodje after failing to get a yellow card in the first half of a match against Wolves on 22 October.
And it said that Mr Sodje's brother Akpo, a striker at Tranmere Rovers, had said he would be prepared to be paid to be booked.
The allegations prompted the National Crime Agency to launch an inquiry.
"An active NCA investigation is now under way and we are working closely with the Football Association and the Gambling Commission," it said in a statement.
'Shocked and saddened'
In a statement from Portsmouth Football Club, spokesman Colin Farmery said: "If these serious allegations are true then we are extremely shocked and saddened by them, as match-fixing of any type goes to the heart of the integrity of the game.

"Influencing a match used to be wholly more complex because it's 22 men - or 25 if you're including officials - who you need to get to," he told BBC Radio 4's Today programme.
"But now something as simple as a booking, a red card - these can be manufactured incidents.
"I think the betting markets are something that we could have a look at as an industry
