DP to announce two new projects around birthday..

The New Year is yet to set in but for Deepika Padukone it already seems to be turning out well. The actress, who gave four back-to-back hits in 2013, is likely to announce two more projects around her 28th birthday.

She currently has three films - "Happy New Year", "Finding Fanny" and Imtiaz Ali's next, to look forward to next year.

"Deepika will be having special announcements around her birthday (Jan 5)," said a source close to the actress.


The past year has proven successful for the talented young lady thanks to "Race 2", "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani", "Chennai Express" and "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela", all of which made it to the Rs.100 crore club.

She showcased a variety in her roles via each of these films, and was lauded for her versatility.

Deepika Padukone to romance Ram Charan Teja

Ram Charan Tejadebuted in Bollywood with ‘Zanjeer’ remake opposite Priyanka Chopra as the female lead. Though the film did not spell magic at the box-office, he has bagged another promising project, a periodic drama to be directed by Ashutosh Gowariker of ‘Lagaan’ and ‘Jodha Akbar’ fame.

The movie is still in the embryonic stage and speculation is high that Deepika Padukone will be roped in to play the female lead opposite Ram Charan Teja. Deepika the reigning queen of Bollywood has not yet confirmed the news and the director are on negotiations with the actress at the moment.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan Teja who is a big name down South is busy with his Southern projects for Krishna Vamsi directorial, while he is waiting for his next release ‘Yevadu’ which is slated to release on January 12.

Deepika Padukone too is busy with Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ with Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani.

London: Singer-actress Selena Gomez apparently cancelled the Asian and Australian legs of her Stars Dance concert tour because she's been struggling since her breakup with Justin Bieber.

A source close to the star says Gomez will be relying heavily on her family and closest friends during this time, reported Showbizspy.

"Dealing with her breakup from Justin has still been affecting her and she's been in a bit of a bad place recently. Her family stepped in and basically advised her to either go to therapy or stay with them so they could watch over her. Her team agreed that family time would be best," an insider said.

Gomez was slated to kick off a 13-concert tour leg on February 1 in Perth, Australia, but issued a statement on December 20 announcing she was cancelling it.

"My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them. But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be. London: Britney Spears says Jennifer Lopez is her favourite actress and she considers the singer as her inspiration.

"I also love Jennifer Lopez movies. I love Jennifer Lopez," Spears said.

The 'Scream & Shout' hitmaker also said that Lopez, 44, has been an inspiration to her and looks beautiful despite ageing.

"Jennifer Lopez is my idol - she's so beautiful and even though she's gotten older, she hasn't aged at all. She looks more amazing than ever and I really admire and respect that," said Spears.

The "Perfume" singer, who has featured alongside Zoe Saldana in the movie 'Crossroads' and has made appearances on 'Will and Grace' and 'How I met Your Mother' TV series, is willing to act again.

Deepika left the sets of ‘Happy New Year’ to meet Salman Khan?

When Deepika Padukone was shooting with her very good friend cum co-star Shahrukh Khan at Mehboob studio for her upcoming venture ‘Happy New Year’ which is being directed by Farah Khan, she bumped into one of the other Khan’s of the Bollywood. Interestingly Shahrukh Khan’s enemy turned friend Salman Khan was shooting on another set in the very same studio where SRK was shooting for ‘Happy New Year’. When Deepika Padukone found out about this, she didn’t think twice before going and meeting the Dabangg Khan who was sitting outside his vanity van. The meeting happened when Farah decided to call for tea break while shooting for ‘Happy New Year’. What’s little surprising is that though Salman and Shahrukh Khan have patched up, there still seems to be little heat in between to two stars of Bollywood. We are saying this because Shahrukh Khan and Salman kept each other at bay and avoided bumping into each other.. And while Shahrukh gave Salman a miss, Farah Khan too didn’t bother going and disturbing Salman Khan and decided to stay on the sets while the brean was on.

Breaking News: Gauhar Khan wins ‘Bigg Boss 7’

After 104 days stay in the house, the winner of the reality show, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ has been announced. Gauhar Khan has been declared winner of the seventh season of the popular reality show, ‘Bigg Boss’ hosted by superstar Salman Khan. After lots of twists and turns, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ has finally got the winner of this season. Gauhar remained prominent throughout the show for her proximity with Kushal Tandon.

Before the winner was announced, Gauhar's mother Razia Zafar Khan came on the stage and said, "Apni bacchchi par naaz hai mujhe. Woh badi samajhdaari aur sachchai se aage badi hai".

Gauhar emerged as the winner by defeating Tanisha Mukherjee and wrestler Sangram Singh. Gauhar Khan got maximum votes and Sangram Singh stood first runner up of the show. The winner’s name was declared by Salman Khan. Ajaz Khan stood third and Tanisha secured the last position.

Gauhar’s journey in Bigg Boss house has been filled up with emotional ups and downs. She left the show in the mid-way with her boyfriend Kushal Tandon but when the channel interfered she returned.

The grand finale saw performances by Salman Khan and Elli Avram, Gauhar Khan and Kushal Tandon and Tanisha Mukherjee with Armaan Khan.

The finale also has seen reconciliation of veteran actress Tanuja with daughter Tanisha. Tanuja was at first hesitant to come on the set but on Salman Khan’s insist, she came and embraced her daughter. “I saw all episodes of Bigg Boss 7 and I cried whenever Tanisha cried on the show.
