IndiaGlitz sources revealed that the actor enrolled for a 12-week Drastic Transformation programme with UK professional Lloyd Stevens and went on a strict protein diet which involved eating every two hours, minus oil and salt. Ranveer also worked out for an hour in the morning and evening. Said Ranveer, "Kris and I really worked hard to achieve the desired look. I achieved results in 6 weeks. All the work before the song, zero salt, bare carbs and minimum water paid off as my body is captured on celluloid and will remain so for a life. It was a huge confidence boost." First look of Priyanka Chopra's item song in 'Ram-Leela' is finally out and the Barfi! actress is all set to seduce in a white choli and dhoti with a thigh high slit.

Priyanka Chopra completed her with a bracelet and anklets.
This item number has been choreographed by Prabhu Deva's brother Vishnu Deva and was shot in the Film City Studios with an expensive set made for the song.

Yash Raj Films have finally released the motion poster of this year's much-awaited film 'Dhoom: 3' featuring the entire cast - Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif along with Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.
The motion poster starts off with some high-flying bike stunts that appear to be taking Chicago by storm.
Next, we have an introduction of all the characters – Abhishek Bachchan as Inspector Jai Dixit, Uday Chopra as Ali, Aamir Khan, who is heard to be playing a double role in the film and lead actress Katrina Kaif, sizzling in a pair of hot shorts and a bikini top.
The 'Dhoom' franchise that began in 2004 had John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan playing the baddies respectively.

Aishwarya to romance Abhishek in ‘Happy Anniversary’

The long wait is finally over!Aishwarya Rai Bachchanis making a grand comeback with none other than her dearest husband and actor Abhishek Bachchan in Gaurang Doshi’s ‘Happy Anniversary’. Ash has signed the dotted line and the film will go on floor in early next year. The film will be shot in South Africa. Both Aishwarya and Abhishek liked the script and gave their nod to the project. The film is based on the “anatomy of marriage’’. The film will be directed by noted ad filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar.

This is Aishwara first film post the birth of her baby Aaradhya. Ash is working hard to get into the character. She is hitting the gym to shed extra flab. Gaurang Doshi said that Ash would look hot and sexy in the film similar to her image in ‘Dhoom 2’.

"We have finalised Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan for Happy Anniversary. They are ideal married couple and we felt they fit the bill. Prahlad's relation with Aishwarya and mine with Bachchan's apart, the script also attracted the couple to do the film," Gaurang told PTI.

This is Ash and Abhi’s sixth film together. They have worked in movies like ‘Dhai Akshar Prem Ke’, ‘Kuch Naa Kaho’, ‘Guru’, ‘Dhoom 2’, ‘Sarkaar Raj’. ‘Happy Anniversary’ will be made on a budget of 65 crores.

Ash shares a great rapport with Gaurang and Prahlad Kakkar. They were neighbors before Ash got married to Abhishek.  Prahlad directed Ash and Aamir in Pepsi commercial 20 years back.

The script of ‘Happy Anniversary’ was penned by Doshi and the screenplay is jointly written by Jay Varma and him. Monika Vimal Maluka is co-producing the film with  Gaurang Doshi Productions and UVI Production

Doshi said as why he signed Prahlad Kakkar as the director, "Prahlad, who is one of the best ad filmmakers in the country has rejected 60 films before he agreed to direct a film for me. A successful ad filmmaker who has refused so many offers must have had good reasons to do so. When I met him we realized we had similar views about the kind of work we wanted to do.

Shahid Kapoor’s Phata Poster Nikhla Hero failed to make a mark at the box office in the opening weekend, while the Irrfan Khan-Nimrat Kaur starrer The Lunchbox saw a tremendous growth. The Lunchbox, for one, had a limited release but a unanimous praise by the critics and the strong positive word of mouth had the cine buffs thronging the theatres on Sunday and Saturday. Therefore, after a somewhat slow start on Friday with just Rs. 1.25 crore net, the movie showed a growth of 120 percent on Saturday and the collections rose to Rs. 2.60 crore net. Sunday was still better with Rs. 3.25 crore. The opening weekend figures tot up to Rs. 7.10 crore approx. Movie Review: The Lunchbox On the other hand, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, starring Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz did not live up to the expectations. After a dull Friday of Rs. 6 crore net, the film showed minimal growth on Saturday with Rs. 7 crore as the day’s collection. Sunday’s collection of Rs. 8.25 crore net took the film’s first weekend collection to Rs. 21.25 crore net, which is below the mark for any big budget Bollywood movie featuring a popular star. Meanwhile, Grand Masti has continued its triumphant march at the box office. The film has crossed the Rs. 80 crore mark. It remains to be seen if it will hit a century of crores. Don’t ask that to the dishy Deepika who’s had a roaring 2013 so far and is still not done. Her January release Race 2 grossed 100.45 crore net at the box office. May brought an added cheer with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani minting a whopping Rs. 188.57 crore. And now Chennai Express has scorched all previous box office records and written history with Rs. 211 crore net and still counting. Just add the numbers up and you get Rs. 500.02 crore worth of business that Deepika’s 2013 releases have done so far. No other actress, not even Katrina Kaif or Kareena Kapoor, venture anywhere close. While Katrina Kaif hasn’t had any release this year, she had two big ones in 2012: Ek Tha Tiger(Rs. 198.78 crore) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (Rs. 120.85 crore). The total comes just a little under Rs. 320 crore, way below Deepika’s 500 crore mark. Kareena Kapoor ranks still below with Rs. 263.15 crore of cumulative collection from Bodyguardand Ra.One in 2011. The two new releases of the week, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero and The Lunchboxopened to a strictly average response at the box office. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero managed to mint just Rs. 6 crore net approximately on its first day at the box office. The figure is clearly below the mark as an opening of around 10 crore (give and take a crore or two) is usually deemed par for the course if the film is to have a decent opening weekend. The movie saw a good response in Rajasthan, UP and central India, but couldn’t attract expected footfalls in Mumbai, Delhi and Punjab. 'Phata Poster Nikhla Hero' movie review One of the reasons could be the good run of the last week’s release Grand Masti. The film has galloped close to the Rs. 70 crore net mark in its eight-day’s run so far. The 100 crore milestone looks a possibility, but we’ll have to wait and watch. The other release of this week, The Lunchbox, fared well at the multiplexes and collected around Rs. 1.25 crore net on the opening day, despite it being an arthouse film with Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur in leading roles. STUNNERS ON RED CARPET The glamorous red carpet event of South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) saw some of your favourite actresses strutting their stuff in splendid and stylish designer wear. Unlike their simple on-screen looks, the South sirens made stunning style statements on the red carpet in Dubai. So, who all descended on the red carpet? From Shriya Saran, Shruti Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal toAsin and Trisha -- all the wonderful ladies made their sizzling presence felt at the star-studded event. However, the one actress who really caught our attention was Nidhi Subbaiah. The actress wore a frilly mermaid gown in white and black, and wowed us with her faux bob. Shriya, too, went for a gown, and floored us in an orange gown with a tinge of gold. For Trisha, however, it was a short and edgy dress. Kajal Aggarwal and Nisha Agarwal -- both sisters sizzled in quirky dresses at the event. Kajal was in Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi wants him in Grand Masti 3.  Actor Vivek Oberoi is keen to have Hollywood action star Jean Claude Van Damme in "Grand Masti 3" and says that it would be great fun seeing him do a "helicopter kick" in the movie. Vivek's Grand Masti released Friday and the actor seems to be keen on another instalment of the film. The actor had joined Van Damme, Hollywood-based Indian filmmaker Ashok Amritraj andGulshan Grover for a session on "How can India make $100 million films" at the CII Big Picture Summit here Friday. "My film 'Grand Masti' release today (Friday) and I was just talking to JCVD (Van Damme) and I was just telling him that it's time to see him make a triple impact in 'Grand Masti 3', the sequel," said Vivek Oberoi, a big fan of "Blood Sport" movie star. "It will be fun to see him do a helicopter kick in the film. It's an action film, but a different kind of action. It's a naughty film and it's exciting and interesting to do a genre like that," he added. Talking about his Bollywood journey, the actor, who made an impressive debut withCompany, said the entertainment and media industry has become a global village now. "I started my career 11 years ago as an actor and I had the opportunity to do something different in a film called 'Company'. Indra Kumar’s unapologetic, over-the-top sex comedy Grand Masti is romping to glory at the box office. The film has become the fourth highest opener of the year 2013. Though panned by many critics for its sexist double-entendres and bawdy humour, the film starring Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh and a host of actresses, opened to a terrific audience response of 65 percent to 70 percent at ticket windows on Friday. The film fared exceptionally well in Rajasthan. The first day collection of Grand Masti stands at a whopping Rs. 12.5 crore net, which is the fourth highest of the year 2013 after Chennai Express, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Race 2. The writing is on the wall. Though the film may have offended some critics, it’s being lapped up by the audiences. If the Friday’s footfalls are bettered on Saturday and Sunday, expect to see the opening weekend figures of Grand Masti in the range of Rs. 35 crore to Rs. 40 crore net, if not more. from apun ka choice.

'Horror Story' is worth a watch for the fans of the genre

The ApunKaChoice movie review of Horror Story. While Vikram Bhatt’s latest presentation Horror Story is sure as hell not a spookfest to give anyone wet pants, the film does pack a few good hair-raising scares. For one, the film hinges on an interesting premise. Seven friends are on a night-out for a farewell party for one of them who’s headed abroad. As they wet their whistle, they hear the news of a suicide at Hotel Grandiose, the abandoned, haunted, mysterious hotel none dare enter. The friends decide to visit the hotel to find out the truth. What they find out rather is their worst nightmare coming true. Once the friends enter the hotel, the doors shut behind them. The lights go off. The phone network goes down. They gun on their torches, and what they witness is shifting shadows, a moving wheelchair, a record that plays on its own, a haunting nursery rhyme ‘Ringa Ring o Roses’ reverberates though the dark corridors and musty halls, and then -- devil be invoked -- the ghost makes its appearance. Trapped inside the hotel with no way out, the friends are pitted against an unseen, untamed evil force out to kill them one by one, but not before scaring the living daylights out of them, and the dear viewer as well. Interesting? Indeed it is. And director Ayush Raina -- with Vikram Bhatt’s shadow looming over him -- does get a lot right. The screenplay is taut and never goes off onto tangents like songs, or romantic tracks or steamy shower scenes. The ambience is craftily built and anticipation cleverly spurred. Only one wishes the actors had stood up to the task. Just to roll the credits here, the film has a host of newbies. Leading the brat pack is television actor Karan Kundra. The newcomers include Ravish Desai, Hasan Zaidi,Nishant Malkani, Sheetal Singh, Aparna Bajpai, Radhika Menon and Nandini Vaid. Of them all, Karan Kundra (playing Neil), Radhika Menon (playing Neena) and Nishant Malkani (playing Achint) come good. The rest just about pass muster. A good soundtrack and background score can go a long way in giving the audience the heebie-jeebies in a horror movie. In Horror Story, there are a few deft touches here and there, but mostly it’s the ear-splitting shriek after stony silence that causes you to splatter your cola. Horror Story is not without clichés and tropes of its genre and one can’t fathom why a ghost would wreak hell on innocent youngsters out on a harmless adventure. A wishy-washy back story of a mental asylum is proffered. The climax charts a predictable course. In short,Horror Story isn’t really our answer to The Conjuring but it does pack in a few potent scares.from apun ka choice. Rating: **1/2
